    In the remembrance of the 50th anniversary of Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination, Love Beyond Walls and The Center for Civil and Human Rights are partnering in the March Against Poverty Launch Rally on March 3rd, 2017.

    The 386-mile march will begin at The Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta and finish at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, where Dr. King was assassinated, on April 4th, the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

    The event will serve as the launch for the second March Against Poverty, led by Terence Lester, founder of Love Beyond Walls. The gathering will bring together people from all walks of life and nationalities to engage in a national conversation on racial division and systemic poverty.

    The rally-styled event will feature remarks civil rights leaders on systemic poverty and healing racial tension.
