Nobody told us what to expect. Probably because there are no words.
212° Conference is one of those conferences you just have to experience for yourself. Cliché? Perhaps. But we double-dare you to show up in 2017 with an expectant heart.
That’s what Team Jesus Mag did last week at #212Conf 2016, and we did not leave empty-hearted!
212°: The Point Where Change Happens
We were honored to be invited media guest for 212 Conference, May 4th-6th 2016, by Apostle Ron and Hope Carpenter, the gracious pastors of Redemption in Greenville, SC. This year’s dynamic speakers included Pastors Samuel Rodriguez, Dharius Daniels, John Gray, Bishop Tony Miller, with amazing musical guests Tasha Cobbs, David and Nicole Binion, and Stephen and Lori Ward. The conference wrapped with the live recording of Tye Tribbett’s highly-anticipated “Bloody Win”.
In case you’re wondering, “What do the numbers 212 mean?” – 212° Fahrenheit is the boiling point of water. It is the point where water is changed into steam.
Thousands of attendees from 43 countries and online viewers experienced this metaphorical change – where God transforms you down to the molecular structure of your being, your thinking, your perspectives, and your spiritual outlook through the Word of God.
Day 1
The atmosphere for 212° was set long before Day 1, long before any guest speaker or artist took the stage. From the parking lot to security to conference guides, Redemption volunteers were prepared, energized, welcoming – and passed all of our Christian event volunteer checkpoints.
212° attendees, who were wrapped around the outside of the building, would soon be greeted by cheers and high fives from volunteer staff. The fruit of time spent in prayer and intercession for the conference was about to manifest.
As jumbo screens counted down to corporate worship, it becomes clear that 212° conference gives you a glimpse of heaven: All nations, all races worshipping and praising the true and living God.
Pastor Samuel Rodriguez and Tasha Cobbs
If there’s a worship leader in the body of Christ who’s gifted in breaking chains and setting the atmosphere for the Word of God – it’s Tasha Cobbs. 212° attendees were not only blessed by her ministry in praise and worship, but by her testimony.
Battling a diagnosis of a lump affecting her vocal chords, 212° was Cobbs’ first singing engagement in over 3 weeks. Through the miraculous healing power of Jesus Christ, the lump shrunk before the doctor’s eyes, and Cobbs was able to shout and sing with the voice of triumph:
“When I shout, I got angels that show up with miracles…The more I worship, the more I’m healed!”
With the atmosphere now ripe for a rich word, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez spoke from 1 Kings 19:19 – the plow and the mantle – when God totally shifts your life to a higher level of anointing. Attendees left that evening with a new mantle from God, never again to pick up the plows they once pushed:
The plow and the mantle…when Heaven starts it, hell can’t stop it. 1 Kings 19:19 @nhclc #212Conf

Day 2
Dynamic couples who worship was a common thread throughout Day 2 of 212°, with Stephen and Lori Ward sharing in song before the morning sessions, and David and Nicole Binion that evening.
Apostle Ron Carpenter kicked the day off with Godly lessons about understanding the mind, imagination, and how to manage our thoughts:
God gave you an #imagination to paint pictures of promises. @roncarpenter #212Conf

The practical teachings of Bishop Tony Miller enlightened attendees to the importance of Zion, servant leadership, and the progression from being “blessers” to “builders”:
