Passion Conference 2019: The Collegiate Gathering of Worship and Teaching

39,000+ Students Unite in Atlanta, Dallas, and DC for Passion Conference 2019

Nearly 40,000 young adults from across the globe will fill arenas in Atlanta, Dallas, and Washington, D.C., for a sold-out gathering of worship and teaching. January 2nd – January 4th, attendees will gather in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena (formerly Philips Arena) and Infinite Energy Center; The Theatre at Grand Prairie in Dallas; and The Anthem in Washington, D.C., for Passion 2019—a gathering of 18-25-year-olds and their church and campus leaders.

Passion 2019 will be live and live-streamed simultaneously from the four locations to students from hundreds of universities and 36 countries. Each venue will have live worship music in every session—with multiple bands traveling between locations—and attendees will experience teaching from select speakers live while seeing the others via livestream.

Leading the way at Passion 2019 will be Passion founders Louie and Shelley Giglio and Passion Music, joined by guests Christine Caine, Matt Chandler, and Chad Veach. Worship leaders and bands will include Passion Band, Crowder, Lecrae, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes, Travis Greene, Andy Mineo, Mosaic MSC, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard and Trip Lee.

Passion believes that worship and justice go hand in hand, so students will arrive to serve as well as worship. In the past few years, attendees have given some $8.3 million to fight modern-day slavery through Passion and The END IT Movement, assisting in awareness, prevention, rescue, and restoration. Ending modern-day slavery is still a focus of Passion 2019, however, Passion is also calling students to give towards the Deaf Bible Society as part of Hope in Every Language. The Hope in Every Language campaign is designed to distribute the stories of Jesus (from the New Testament) in the unique sign languages of various countries around the world. Only 2 percent of the 70 million people in the global deaf community have access to the Gospels in their unique sign languages.

Passion 2019 marks the first return to Dallas in several years.

About Passion Conferences

Led by a stirring in the heart of Atlanta-based pastor Louie Giglio, Passion was birthed in 1997 to see the more than 20 million college students across the globe awaken to the reality of an omnipotent and glorious Creator. Since then, millions of students from numerous countries have joined the Passion movement, united across ministry and denominational lines, to seek the face of God in worship and prayer at 37 conferences, five world tours, multiple one-day and regional events and music tours. Passion’s core Bible verse, Isaiah 26:8 states, “Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your truth, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our souls.” The Passion team is led by Louie and Shelley Giglio and operates under the direction of a board that is committed to spreading the fame of Jesus Christ to college students everywhere.
