At the 2016 GMA Dove Awards, Team Jesus Magazine had the pleasure of speaking with Word Records Christian Hip-Hop and R&B artist, Steven Malcolm. Steven has performed alongside artists like Lecrae, KB, Andy Mineo, Da T.R.U.T.H., This’I, Swoope, Json, Canton Jones, and many more.
With his just-released single “Hot Boy” and his independent debut album, Monsters Ink, in 2014, Steven’s respect and notoriety in the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) community continues to soar. When this humble servant is not touring, you’ll find Steven serving as Worship Leader at a hip hop Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan called The Edge Urban Fellowship.
